Global Plans for AGI

What does the world plan to do once we reach super intelligence?

AGI is Artificial General Intelligence. It is capable of doing anything and learning anything that a human can do at a human level and beyond.

It will be capable of improving itself faster and better than a human would be able to. This is the point at which even Sam Altman says is “…too fast”.

But nonetheless, the missions statement of OpenAI is to “Create AGI…”.

So what is our plan once we have this thing?

And is it a single thing? or is it a bunch of AI’s that work together? What are the energy requirements to run such a model? Who wields its power? Should it be open source?

These are questions that need to be answered today, long before we get AGI. Because the moment we get it, it will be too late.
