How to clone your voice
Platform
Eleven Labs is my preferred Voice Cloning Platform.
It’s professional voice cloning retains a voice’s distinctive features like accent and unique speaking style.
I’ve used it on stage to deliver meditations or introduction without the audience knowing the difference until I revealed it.
If you ever create a video clone on HeyGen, you can use your eleven labs voice clone with your avatar.

Instructions for Recording Harvard Sentences for Voice Cloning
Step 1: Setup
Ensure a quiet environment free from background noise.
Use a high-quality microphone positioned consistently close to the speaker.
Linked above is the microphone I use but it is not required. Just know that the quality of your recording data will be matched in your voice clone generations.
Step 2: Preparation
Hydrate well before recording to clear the throat.
I like to drink some hot tea and honey first.
Prepare your mindset and energy to match the attitude you’d like to portray in your voice clone.
Warm up your voice by playing a song you like and singing along.
Step 3: Recording Guidelines
speak naturally. However you deliver your voice is how it will be reflected in the clone generations.
Step 4: Recording Session
READ THE “HARVARD SENTENCES”
Record each sentence with a brief pause between sentences.
Repeat each sentence if necessary to capture a clean version.
Step 5: Review and Edit
Listen to each recording and ensure clarity and consistency.
Edit out any mistakes, long pauses, or background noises.
I use premier pro to record and edit.
Step 6: Upload for Cloning
Compile your recordings into a single audio file or multiple files as required by the cloning service.
Upload the audio files following the service's guidelines for voice cloning.
Step 7: Confirmation and Processing
Submit the recordings for processing.
Wait for the service to verify the audio quality and to process your voice clone.
Final Note: Adhere to the cloning service’s specific requirements regarding audio format, length, and quality to ensure the best results. Follow these steps diligently to create a high-fidelity voice clone.
