Welcome to the New Home

For a long time I had a Squarespace page that did the basic job of saying "here I am." This is the home that does the real one.

Why rebuild

I'm spending most of my days in the craft of building The Sacred Act — an AI meditation app I'm trying to make with the same seriousness the practice itself asks for. The more I worked on it, the more I noticed how rare it is to find writing online that is both technically honest and contemplatively serious. Most of the web treats those as separate audiences.

I wanted a place I could write between them.

What lives here

A few things, on purpose:

  • Writing. Essays on what I'm building and what I'm reading. Slow, deliberate, no engagement loops.
  • A library. Pieces by other people, set in the same calm format so they're a pleasure to read.
  • Projects. A small list, kept short. Quality over inventory.
  • A newsletter. No marketing, no funnel — just a note when I publish something worth your time.

Later, when the foundation is steady, this will also be where I open up paid consultation hours, sell the occasional digital download, and post jobs for The Sacred Act team.

What I'm trying to avoid

The internet's defaults: noise, urgency, the soft pressure to perform. If something here isn't doing real work, it shouldn't be here.

If you found your way over from a tweet or an app, thank you for coming.
